A ragtag team of wine nerdlingers and cork-dorks, deeply passionate about the world of wine: that's the VB/SC family. And when one of our own leaves the Vintage Berkeley nest to make their own wine? And calls it Disco Lemonade? You'd best believe we'll be the first to host them for a tasting!
Tomorrow at Vine Street, we're thrilled to host Vintage Berkeley alumna Liv Ross, introduce you to her winemaking project, Virgo Magic, and pour her debutante bottling: Disco Lemonade!
Made from Riesling sourced from Wirz Vineyard (one of CA's oldest Riesling spots, planted in 1963!), it positively shines with notes of lime pith, citrus blossom, and briny minerality... and has a savory finish that will make even a Riesling-skeptic's mouth water!
