Then, next Thursday? John Locke of Birichino is up from Santa Cruz! One of the most talented offshoots of the mad laboratory that is/was Randall Grahm's Bonny Doon (in fact, John was described in an amazing New Yorker article as "the Sancho to Grahm's Don"), John's making some of the most classically tuned of all naturally made wonders in California.
John's Birichino wines range from wild zero-sulfur wines to genuinely profound, terroir-driven, single-vineyard Pinot Noirs that can go up against anything in the state; come join us next week for an outdoor tasting with the man himself!
