Return Policy
We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your purchases at www.vintageberkeley.com. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return any product within fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery.
Returns will fall into one of two categories:
- In the case of products for which the quality has been compromised due to transport, we will refund the value of the returned product(s), sales tax and shipping costs, the latter if applicable.
- In the case of dissatisfaction with the product of which the quality is uncompromised, we will provide a full refund so long as the product return process is initiated within 14 days of date of delivery. For orders where the return process commences after 14 days from the date of delivery, we will offer a store credit for the full amount of the order once the product has been returned to our store and determined to be of saleable quality. Please note that all shipping costs required to return an item will be borne by the purchaser. Refunds will typically be processed within 3 days.
To initiate the return process, please contact our staff at info@vintageberkeley.com. Once this request has been received, our team will advise you how to proceed.
Please note that special order items are not eligible for return.
Similarly, if a customer requests shipment of their order during periods of inclement weather, and against our written advisory to do so, the customer releases us from all liability and the product cannot be returned due to damage in transport. In this scenario, we will require the customer to acknowledge in writing in advance that they are overriding our advisory against shipping due to inclement weather, and that they assume all risk for damage or non-delivery as a consequence.
