On Friday July 17th we're hosting the art opening of Wyatt Hersey's new show, a winemaker tasting with Sonoma's Joseph-Jibril and a Japanese foor pop up with Okkon!
Our new artist residency features the art of Santra Cruz based illustrator, painter, muralist & designer Wyatt Hersey! His work explores narratives of relational ecology and ecological consciousness while instilling a sense of playfulness, mutualism, and vitality in the viewer.
Winemakers Bobby Huff and Jaam Moynihan met working in the cellar at Kosta Browne and hatched the idea to launch a micro-winery all their own over parking lot beers. They named their project Joseph-Jibril, their respective middle names, snd started with the goal to make focused, lively, delicious, and unique wines, with minimal intervention and an emphasis on organic farming. They work with exquisite Sonoma County fruit, focusing on single vineyard Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc, as well as Valdiguie, rosé and more!
Joseph-Jibril will also be at the the Unfiltered Wine Festival, happening in Berkeley at Donkey & Goat winery on July 25 & 26. For more information on the festival, check the following link!
We're also happy to host Sachi and Satoshi of Okkon for a Japanese food pop up! They'll be serving delicious Okonomiyaki and more, paired alongside Bobby & Jaam's awesome wines!
Come meet Wyatt, check out his awesome new show, taste the new wines from Bobby and Jaam and eat delicious food from Sachi and Satoshi!
