Pinot Noir is one of the best grapes for showing exactly where it comes from. The same grape can have wildly different results.

We’re pouring examples from Germany, Burgundy, Oregon, California, and Chile to see how climate, soil, farming, and winemaking all shape what ends up in the glass. Expect everything from lighter, brighter, more savory styles to richer, silkier, fruit-driven expressions, with plenty of earth, spice, acidity, and texture in between.

We’ll taste through all five regions side by side to show how Pinot from cool climates can feel so different from Pinot grown somewhere warmer, how choices in the cellar can change texture and flavor, and how those differences show up in structure, and texture.
