Description
Provençal rosé and cheese have been enjoyed together in the South of France for centuries. This style of rosé has the freshness and acidity you want with creamy, salty cheeses, but often enough texture, fruit, and savory character to stand up to firmer, funkier styles too. We’re going to explore them all.
We’ll start with a pair of easy-drinking, classic vin gris, move into two more serious, structured Bandols, then finish with Clos Cibonne’s cult-favorite Tibouren, one of the most distinctive rosés in Provence, and really the world. Each style of wine will be paired with a different cheese to show just how differently rosé can behave.
5 wines and 3 cheeses for $20…what a night!
