Made in the Champagne method, this is a blend of extraordinary CA grape sources: Alder Springs in cool Mendocino County, Rorick Heritage high in the Sierra Foothills, Keefer Ranch at the headwaters of Green Valley Creek in Sonoma and the rocky outcropping of Linda Vista in Napa. A blend of 68% Pinot Noir & 32% Chardonnay, the nose offers a layered, singular perfume of warm peaches and strawberries, biscuit, spring butter and toast, expertly balancing ripe California fruit and savory autolytic character. Medium-bodied and dry, the palate is intense and savory, with biscuit-laced flavors and bright bursts of pure raspberry character. It has a fine, creamy texture, a long finish and an insane amount of complexity, personality and deliciousness!
