I'm a simple woman: I believe in Champagne on a Tuesday, I am incapable of NOT petting each and every dog, and I will *always* throw my support behind all things queer owned & operated. Having tasted Rosalind Reynold's wines from her first release to this latest one, I can happily confirm: Emme Wines are a dreamy confluence of very gay and very good. This is the first time she's released a varietal Valdiguie, and she absolutely nailed it. Dark and brooding in color, savory and spiced on the nose, but beautifully lifted, aromatic, and with generous black fruit on the palate, (think rhubarb, blackberry, and nicoise olives). My favorite Emme wine to date (and not just because I get to call it Valdigay...).
