Description
Unless you're particularly studied in Slavic language, the label can read like a random collection of letters and accents. To add to the confusion: Grasevina is the Croatian term for Welschriesling... which has absolutely nothing to do with Rhine Riesling (i.e., the Riesling we all know from Germany, Austria, etc.). What's *not* confusing? That this is an undeniable thirst-quencher, a crisp, bright, outrageously refreshing crusher from a vineyard just south of the Hungarian border on Croatia's eastern edge. Apple, lemon, subtle white flower aromas, and beautifully balanced acid, for a price that will make you do a double take.
