Description
This is about as dreamy as Cali SB gets, sourced from a trio of Sonoma Valley vineyards including Bedrock home vineyard just north of the town of Sonoma. Bedrock uses only the most aromatically intense of Sauvignon Blanc clones, Musqué -- and with a mix of 80% stainless steel and 20% oak barrel, they've found a perfect balance between bright acidity and textural grip. (They use the same barrels as Didier Dagueneau in the Loire, perhaps the world’s most legendary SB whisperer.) With notes of white peach, green guava, and tarragon, it is medium bodied, textured, and aromatically beguiling.
