Description
Oh my word, this orange is something to write home about. First off, it's made from Ribolla Gialla grapes, an ancient northern Italian/Slovenian varietal that you would be forgiven for never having heard of (it is rarely seen on this side of the Atlantic). Second-of-ly, Sabrina of Ruby Blanca macerated the grapes *with skins on* for three weeks, giving the wine a stunning apricot hue and just the right amount of tannic texture. But don't let its depth of color fool you - this Central Valley stunner is bright, vivacious, and sunny as can be. Share it with your friends who don't yet know that they love orange wine, and you'll have some converts on your hands.
