Long before Broc was rockin' west Berkeley? Covenant was here, making wines more famous nationally than they are right here at home! Their Tribe Cabernet Sauvignon sources grapes from Lake County -- a region known for its warm temperatures, fruit richness and volcanic, rocky soils. The wine is layered with classic herb and spice notes framing a core of cassis and huckleberry flavors. But winemaker Jonathan Hajdu has deftly kept the tannins smooth and silky, making this an approachable Cab that still holds enough complexity for the dinner table.
