Certified organic, single vineyard, pure Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon--not a statement that can be made by many! Planted in 1989 on the volcanic and alluvial soils found in northern Napa Valley, this vineyard forms the eastern border of the Turley estate and is framed on two sides by ancient, majestic oak trees and a 150-year-old olive grove. Suave, generous and full-bodied, with no shortage of finely grained tannins and bright, vibrant acidity, this wine has ripe, classic Cabernet fruit, rounded out by the savory herbs, cedar, pipe tobacco, and a touch of earth. Immensely enjoyable now but will easily age 5 - 10 years.
