Sourced from the Resplendor vineyard in the Yamhill Carlton AVA where 35-year-old own rooted pinot gris and pinot blanc are farmed organically. This site sits at around 600ft elevation and is northeast facing, giving these delicate varieties morning sun and allowing for even ripening and full phenolic development even when harvested with bright acidity! The pinot gris is fermented on the skin with staggered co-fermentation of Muscat and Riesling. These aromatic varieties give this wine its playful, tropical juiciness, like high-c fruit punch without the forever chemicals.
