People who love Loire Valley Cabernet Francs tend to love them absolutely, and this is a bottle that has all of our resident Franc-ophiles aswoon. It has this wonderful spicy character; think roasted red peppers, candle wax, black cherries -- and it’s so *balanced.* As is most often the case with a great bistro Cab Franc, the alcohol here doesn’t even hit 13%. The exuberantly earthy taste may not be for Aunt Elma, but for me? Two cases in the cellar ain’t enough. This is a wine made for thinking and drinking both! (Certified organic, too.)
