Is there a winemaker we cherish more or have worked with longer than Kenny Likitprakong? We can't for the life of us think of who it might be, if so. This is his second vintage of certified organic (and biodynamically farmed) Sauvignon Blanc from the Vecino Vineyard in Potter Valley, high up in Mendocino county. Let's be crystal clear: there are virtually no peers for this wine (e.g., biodynamically farmed, hand-made Cali SB) at the price. Crisp, lean (12% and change ABV) and hyper-refreshing, this is an SB that's more about restraint than unchecked tropicality. Get it while we got it!
