When she isn’t producing some of Italy’s finest Teroldigo based wines, Elisabetta Foradori has this fun biodynamic side project that gives us a litre of Alicante, Carignan, Alicante Boouchet, and Mourvedre. Think Tuscany meets the Rhone. Bright red and spicy like a Rhone wine, with enough Alicante-smoothness to take off the rough edges. Glug, glug away! Notes of ripe cherry, currant fruit, with a subtle prickly spice on the finish. Light and fresh with pretty aromatics of cranberry and coastal shrubs on the nose.
