Description
Pros know: for white Burgundy values, there’s a place to look. The Mâconnnais district, the southernmost part of Burgundy. And within the Mâcon itself? Well, for *our* money, we think you’d be hard pressed to find another Burg that delivers this much complexity for this little pocket change. 80-year-old vines planted on limestone generate a tremendous coiled energy. Think cool, pure, mineral core with accents of lemon rind and orchard fruit to boot. (This is the Chard to serve to people who still want to try to hate it; they will readily, delightfully, pleasurably concede defeat.)
