My tasting notes for this one practically read like an expletive-laden e.e. cummings poem, all lower-case exclamations and wonder and eff words uttered in stunned disbelief , esp. once I heard the price. This is old-school Piedmontese *soul*, pure and simple, a blend of Freisa and Barbera farmed organically and wildly (no pruning allowed! the vegetative growth is as rampant as a cummings poem on the subject of the color green). Aged intentionally in bottle, held back at the cellar, and only released when ready... and O Mama is it ever. Elegant & structured, this honestly kills many a Barolo at thrice the price for Soul Factor.
