Description
The domaine de l'Antenet was established in 1983 as Danis Bessieres' grand-father and father moved away from the cooperative to become the first organic estate of the Cahors Appellation. Danis' family has always been working with wild yeast, with a slight addition of sulphur at bottling (about 10 mg). The vines, growing on limestone gravel soils on silty-siliceous soil, are around 30 years old. The vinification of Fuèlha, without inputs, without fining or filtration, begins with a short maceration and ends with a two-year aging in concrete vats. Signature notes of Cabernet Sauvignon perfect with beef, lamb, and game!
