We are looking for enthusiastic, wine-savvy people to join our team at the Solano Cellars Wine Bar & Shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of retail operations and customer service, both on the sales floor and at the wine bar. We are currently seeking candidates for weekend shifts, and possibly some weekday work. Full-time candidates may apply and we will keep your information on file.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous retail or wine industry experience strongly preferred
- Passion for wine and desire to learn more
- Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and independently solve problems
- Work schedule flexibility, including weekend hours
- Basic computer skills (Mac preferred)
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, + lift up to 50 lbs. of wine
- At least 21 years of age
- Local candidates preferred
- Compensation: $20/hr start + tips + generous staff discount
Solano Cellars is a boutique wine shop located in Albany, CA, featuring a selection of 650+ small production wines from around the globe. A welcoming wine bar is nestled away upstairs and serves a rotating menu of 15+ wines, local beers, ciders, and a selection of small bites. The Wine Bar also hosts regular winemaker events and tastings.
