Ronchi di Cialla is a historic producer in the Collio Orientali del Friuli region of northern Italy, just three miles from the Slovenian border. Since 1970, Dina and Paolo (and now their children Ivan and Pierpaolo) have focused on the native varieties of the region, celebrating and preserving such amazing grapes as Ribolla Gialla, Verduzzo, Picolit, Refosco and Pignolo. The family is also responsible for bringing Schioppettino back from the brink of extinction! We're so happy to have Arnie Plowe of Beaune Imports at the shop to share the organically farmed wines from this incredible producer, including pouring some cellar selections from the winery with vintages going back to 2015!
