Think you know Sauvignon Blanc? Think again. This week, we’re taking a globe-trotting tour through one of the world’s most expressive grapes, from zesty and herbaceous to textural and mineral-driven, from seaside freshness to barrel-aged depth.

We’ll taste our way through a lineup that shows just how wildly versatile Sauvignon Blanc can be: the citrusy snap of New Zealand, the flinty precision of the Loire, the ripe tropical tones of California, and the savory, mineral-rich complexity of South Africa. Each glass will reveal a different face of this shape-shifting varietal, proof that Sauvignon Blanc can be so much more than “grassy and crisp.”

And if you’re up for a challenge, we’re giving you the option to taste the entire lineup blind!

To cap things off (or maybe not if you're going in blind!), we’ll pour one of the finest expressions of them all: Gérard Boulay’s Sancerre, a benchmark wine from the famed village of Chavignol that’s as elegant and pure as Sauvignon Blanc gets.
