Fresh from his recent visit to Rias Baixas, our friend and longtime VB/SC collaborator Jose Delgado will join us to showcase the power and potential that this slice of southwestern Galicia has to offer.
Jose has worked directly with the Rias Baixas D.O. to gather wines that best represent the region, with library bottles meant to demonstrate the ageworthy nature of the white wines that dominate the region (largely based on Albariño, the prized variety of the D.O.). We'll open 10+ wines - some recent vintage, many after nearly a decade in the cellar - for a happy hour style gathering. Jose will be on-hand and ready for any and all questions (no matter how nerdy!), and we'll have a selection of tapas to enjoy while you taste.
