Azienda Agricola Nada Giuseppe, Nada for short, is the family winery just outside the village of Trieso in the rolling hills east of Alba. The Nada family purchased a small vineyard, orchard and home in these hills in 1900 (!!) and there they have remained. The Nada’s found themselves in the right place at the right time in the ‘60s when Enrico Nada’s grandfather built a small, proper cellar and began bottling some of the family’s wine. In 1966, just a few years after these first bottlings the Barbaresco DOC was established.
Enrico took over winemaking responsibilities just about a decade ago and made some changes: he ditched SO2 additions (with only a bit at bottling), stopped fining the wines and only does a very light filtration as needed. Best of all, he convinced Mom and Dad to go organic! The Nada’s vineyards were certified in 2017.
Come meet Enrico, learn more about Barbaresco and taste these sultry, silky, floral beauties. We'll be pouring Barbera, Dolcetto, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and more!
