It’s back! In house Sommelier Siavash will be hosting our monthly Burgundy night at College Ave Friday, November 8th. We’ll taste the wines, he’ll talk you through the producers, the region, the styles and be your personal guide to this ever changing region that is the cornerstone of the wine world.
Night Two will focus on the Côte de Nuits: the crown jewel of Burgundy, home to some of the most legendary and coveted Pinot Noirs in the world (ie Domaine de la Romanée-Conti—unfortunately we will not be popping a $5k bottle of DRC for this tasting). Its ancient, limestone-rich soils and ideal climate create wines of unparalleled elegance and complexity, offering a symphony of red fruit, earth, and spice that define the very essence of “Burgundy”. As is the theme of this series, we will be exploring wines that offer relative value in a region where it is near impossible to find. All wines in Night #2 will be between $67-$125 (4 wines under $100).
