Bardos Ciders are our favorite ciders made in California! Focusing on apples that have gone feral and derelict, the old orchards they work are not farmed or irrigated; rather, they are stewarded in their old age. Without any additions other than the fruit they press, the ciders are an inspired expression of the unique lives, mysteries, and times of the trees, terroir and the fruit.
A collective venture of friends and family, Aaron Brown and Colin Blackshear produce low-intervention ciders with minimal carbon footprint and a deep appreciation for sustainable organic agriculture, dry farming and ancestral wine and cider-making traditions.
We are so excited to host Aaron from Bardos to pour 5 of their unique, delicious, beautiful ciders. From apple varieties including Winesap, York Imperial, Empire, Ben Davis, Winter Banana and more!
