This Thursday at Elmwood, we’re taking a deep dive into the Willamette Valley with a tasting that showcases why Oregon continues to punch well above its weight in both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From iconic producers to rising stars, this lineup offers a snapshot of the region’s precision, elegance, and sense of place. And yes, we fit 3 different Walter Scott wines in 1 tasting!

We’ll pour two beautifully contrasting Chardonnays: the 2023 Walter Scott Cuvée Anne from Eola-Amity Hills—electric, mineral-driven, and taut—and the 2018 Winderlea Chardonnay, which brings a bit more age, texture, and richness to the table.

Then, it’s Pinot time. Start with the vibrant 2022 Evesham Wood Pinot Noir, a perfect intro to the Willamette Valley’s fresh, red-fruited style. From there, we climb: the 2023 Walter Scott Cuvée Ruth Hills Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity), the brooding and structured 2022 Cameron Reserve Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills), and the powerfully expressive 2022 Walter Scott Freedom Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir from Mt. Pisgah—each a distinct take on Oregon’s flagship grape.

Six wines. One extraordinary region. Come taste why we’re still obsessed with Oregon.
