Kermit Lynch Imports should need zero introduction in Berkeley but, just in case you’re new here, Kermit literally wrote the book on discovering authentic, excellent wines in France. Unique to Kermit’s meanderings on the so-called “wine route” was a keen focus on small, family-owned estates resistant to the influence of high tech winemaking. The wines Kermit got excited about (and brought back to the US) were made by vignerons favoring old school tools, techniques & winemaking styles. Kermit’s influence on the modern world of wine is manifold and the wine portfolio he established remains impressive and emblematic of his insistence on the superiority of low-intervention, old school winemaking.

Matt Gerloff from Kermit Lynch will be joining us to pour a flight of five of our favorites from this star-studded portfolio of delicious wines. We’ll explore diverse wines from producers across Italy and France working organically in the vineyard and with a light touch in the cellar.
