Description
Some people think you have to go all the way to France to find the best bubbles. But we happen to know that some of the most serious sparkling wines are made right here in Berkeley, specifically by our friend Josh Hammerling. Tilted Mile is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from sustainable, organic vineyards, made in the Champagne method. The wine is aged 16 months in bottle before disgorging by hand. Crisp and citrusy with a little briochey thing and fine, persistent bubbles—it might just be the best sparkling wine in California.
