Kimberly State, owner of Alluvial Wine, will join us to examine ancient winemaking traditions in Greece and trace its impact on modern wine as we know it today.

Our series will be broken into 3 classes, each on focusing on a particular subregion in Greece, with traditional dishes to go alongside your flight. Sign up for classes a la carte, or buy the 3-class bundle.

Greek Wine Class #2: The South-Central and Peninsula

Our Greek wine series continues as we make our way north through Cephalonia, Attica, Peloponnese, and Thessaly. The regions that make up south central Greece and the peninsula are dominated by strikingly savory, textured whites aged in all manner of vessels (amphora, barrel, inox), and mineral-rich, herb-spiked reds, with small, multi-generational wineries hyper-focused on the regions’ native varieties.
