It's the last week of July, and you know what that means... a Thursday night tasting at College Ave, with a lineup of iconic Burgundy to usher us into the waning days of summer! Maybe it's the heat making our heads a bit fuzzy, or the impending start of the new school year and the holiday season looming right behind it; whatever it is, we need a little Burgundian pick-me-up to regain our clarity (and we assume that you do, too)! We'll be opening bottles of some of our favorite, hyper-limited bottles: from a Bourgogne Blanc that punches well above its weight, to a cru-bottling from one of the most sought-after, cult-favorite producers in Chablis; from structured, supple-fruited Pinot Noir from Morey-Saint-Denis in the heart of the Côte-d’Or, to an elegant, spice-kissed old vine offering from Côte de Beaune (from a producer that produces so little wine that we're lucky to get a case or two with each vintage... TOTAL!).
