Our teentsy-weentsy allocation of Turley Juvenile Zinfandel has arrived. Here’s the scoop: this is a cuvee of younger vine plantings that aren’t big enough or old enough to be bottled separately. From 18 of Turley’s best vineyards across California, including Hayne, Ueberroth, Pesenti, Salvador, Vineyard 101, Fredericks and Kirschenmann. Silky and fleshy in the mouth, with bright lifted acidity rising up and out of the juicy dark berry core. Limited supply, no reorders possible, and made by one of the two or three most respected winemakers in our fair state (Tegan Passalacqua, who also makes Sandlands).
