Description
Do Ferreiro is practically the reference point for the Albariño grape; long before it was your favorite grape name to say, they were putting this northwestern corner of Spain on the map. Do Ferreiro’s claim to fame is a small plot of some of the oldest grapevines in the world – some of them reportedly 200 years old. Ancestral farming techniques, native yeasts and plenty of lees stirring gives us one of most refreshing Iberian white wines we’ve had in years. Pithy, round, herbaceous and tropical-citrusy in the glass. Small production, so don’t blame us when it’s gone. (Amazing with ceviche!)
