Description
This is the Occhipinti (Giusto) that trained the Occhipinti (Arianna) you might have heard of, and he’s still one of the greatest natural winemakers in Sicily and the world. His Ramí is equal parts Inzolia and Grecanico that he ferments on the skins for 10 days in concrete tanks. The color is sunrise-orange, and the aromas are like nothing else: scents of orange blossom, cider and raw almonds. (Have fun and decant this: The more air-time you give this the more momentum this wine gets, with notes of dried apricots, chamomile tea and herbal honey that start to surface.)
