Description
Produced by Ocho, a winery established in 2012 by a group of wine enthusiasts dedicated to organic practices and traditional Georgian winemaking techniques, this rosé is made from 100% Tavkveri sourced from vineyards in the Kartli region near Tblisi. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in qvevri—traditional clay amphorae buried underground. Expressive notes of red berries, pomegranate, and floral undertones are complemented by subtle earthy notes. Light-bodied with lively acidity, a touch of spice, and a well-integrated tannic structure this wine is in a class by itself.
