Wine growers in the northern Rhône since 1481, the Chave family (currently helmed by Gérard and son Jean-Louis) represents 16 generations of unbroken lineage committed to the production of some of the finest wine around. Coming from a region better known for deep red wines, this lovely blend of 60% Marsanne and 40% Roussanne has lushness and tension that is irresistible with notes of stone fruit, yellow plum, honeysuckle, beeswax, and a lingering mineral finish. We always love the richness the whites from Crozes can provide, and this is no exception. Pair with pork loin, seafood risotto, or a cheese and charcuterie board.
