Domaine Michel Arcelain is a rising star in the Côte de Beaune village of Pommard, where young couple Pierre and Charlotte are breathing new life into tradition. After meeting just before entering wine school in Beaune—and marrying during their final year—the two have quickly become a dynamic and deeply dedicated team. Their Siserpe bottling is especially compelling: it comes from a tiny, single parcel perched just above the famed 1er Cru Clos des Mouches and east of the Pommard border, nestled high on the hill. Though technically not classified as a Premier Cru, Siserpe is surrounded on all sides by them, making it a bit of a hidden jewel—one that punches well above its weight!
