If only more CA Chards at this price tasted like this! 50% of this is single-vineyard fruit from Fallenleaf Vineyard, a small site overlooking the town of Sonoma, and the rest is from other great spots in Sonoma County. Made in a medium-creamy, lightly oaked style (20% new, 80% neutral), this is rich with creamy tropical fruit, white peach notes, and brightened up with a salty Meyer lemon kick of acidity. (Easy as a pre-dinner aperitif, it also crushes with my wife’s teriyaki pineapple salmon!)
