TL; DR: Get vibrant, dry Chenin Blanc from what's arguably its most famed zip code (Vouvray)... from one of the Loire's fastest rising stars, Sébastien Brunet (one of the rare organic farmers in a sea of, well, not that!)... for one of the best prices it's ever been offered at in the US!

Say it with me, the way Nabokov would insist we do. Voo-Vray: the bite of the lip twice taking a trip, ensuring a double V formation. It just sounds seductive, doesn't it? And in Sébastien Brunet's hands? The wine finally matches the sexy-pants sonorities of its hallowed zip code. Brunet is quite honestly one of Vouvray's only winemakers (a place whose historic renown has rendered it practically hipster-resistant) who's as sought after by traditionalists & tattooed naturalistas alike.

The man at work, mad thievin'

Why? Well, as one of Vouvray's only hand-harvesting, meticulously organic farmers (in a region known for the opposite), and natural-leaning winemakers, he's a bit of an outlier... and the wines are as every bit as focused as their maker!

His 'Arpent' bottling — a wine that's equally at home at Michelin-starred restaurants and natural wine bars in Paris — is a perfect example: a pure and thrilling Chenin that's as clean as it is vibrant. Flinty upon opening, this expands and complexifies with every hour it's open (it lasts for days in the fridge, if you're able to pull that off!): green apple, salty ginger, lemon zest, struck stone, and tart stone fruits all.

And — it's not just us, either! Sommelier Ian Cauble called it:

"Flat-out gorgeous; its layered richness is balanced with intense minerality and mouthwatering acidity.”

And Vinous magazine recently gave it 90 points, and wrote:

" Sensitively made, offering white flowers, a touch of flint and a bright, apple-like finish. The clay soils bring roundness to the palate while the flint component gives tension. A bright, youthful style that can be enjoyed young but has real class."

Want a Vouvray with sexiness to match its place name? Try the nervy, organically farmed Chenin Blanc from one of the fastest rising stars in the Loire! Balanced, precise and exciting, this is a wine known to somms from New York to Paris... and we're offering it at possibly its best price ever!
