Women have been making wine since ancient times. So why do women still make up fewer than 20% of winemakers in the U.S.? We think that deserves more than just a toast. That's why we're showcasing some of our favorite women winemakers on the West Coast, with a lineup that will make you wish there were way more women in the industry. There is something for everyone: crisp Vermentino, earthy Barbera, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc au naturel, Merlot with structure and elegance. (Yes, Merlot is cool again.) Bring your mom, your date, your sister, that friend you want to impress. Or just come by yourself and pay tribute to some of our favorite female producers. This isn’t a themed tasting night. It’s a chance to raise your glass to the women redefining what’s in it.
