The Jura wine region in France is near and dear to our hearts. Nestled in between Burgundy and the Swiss border, Jura wines are at the top of our list of bottles that we love, dream of, argue about and land on our dinner tables.

L’Étoile, with its exceptionally rocky and limestone-dense soil, quietly produces among the Jura’s most profoundly mineral-driven white wines. The appellation’s undisputed leader is Domaine Montbourgeau, a nine-hectare estate founded in 1920 and run since 1986 by Nicole Deriaux. She farms organically, and raises her wines according to the Jura’s distinctive and proud traditions, fully embracing the power of the local yeasts (the voile) to provide a complexity and a specificity of character unique to the region.

We are over the moon excited to have our friend Adam of Rosenthal Wine Merchant in the house to share these beautiful, rare bottles from Domaine Montbourgeau. We'll be pouring the following white wine lineup, and hopefully their estate sparkling wine as well as some older vintage wines as well!
