We're so excited to present our new artist residency, 'Regress Into the Future' showcasing the art of artist Iris de la Torre.
Iris de la Torre (b. 1988) is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus on painting. She is a Bay Area native currently residing in El Cerrito, where she draws daily inspiration from the surrounding natural and constructed landscapes. She works intuitively with natural forms, unexpected colors, and psychedelic patterns to ride the line between abstraction and representation. Exploring the intersection of perception and imagination, her work invites the viewer to integrate through the healing powers of play.
