The wines of Douro based Luis Seabra are without a doubt some of our favorite wines in all of Portugal! After spending 10+ years working side by side with Dirk Niepoort, Luis set off to open his own tiny winery--focused on the vineyards, soils and climate of Cima Corgo in the Douro Valley. These wines are immaculately farmed, organic wonders, built on the traditional white and red field blends of the region--wines that showcase Luis' incredible vineyards, farming and terroir, with little to no intervention in the cellar. We've been proud to carry the 'Xisto Illimatado' wines from Luis for many years, and were excited when our friend Cory Gowan of Mission Wine Merchants told us some of the rare 'Cru' wines from Luis are currently available! We'll be pouring 5 wines (including 3 'Cru' wines) and Cory will be bringing a stack of vinyl to spin too! Awesome music and wines, Friday March 29th at Vine street!
