Summer is tantalizingly close (and recent Bay Area temps suggest it might have come early this year), so naturally, we've found our minds drifting to the islands. But island wine isn't just easygoing sippers to enjoy beachside. They're striking, nuanced, entirely singular expressions of place, and among some of our favorite regions in the world: Santorini and its textured, saline-laden Assyrtiko; the crystalline tension of Corsica's native reds and whites; Sardinia's rugged, earthy intensity; and the sun-kissed, mineral stunners from Mallorca. We'll have a lineup of 6 of our favorite islands wines, ready to get you day dreaming about summer.
