Furmint: best known in the storied Tokaj region of Hungary where it's used in the production of sweet wines, it also can produce mind altering dry white wines as well--high in acidity and redolent of enticing tropical fruits. Furmints are both blazingly alive, insanely complex and simply delicious.
Join us in celebrating this gorgeous grape with Brian Stapleton from Danch & Granger Selections, an incredible importer of wines from this region. Come taste through a selection of dry wines along with one sweet wine from some of our favorite producers including Samuel Tinon, Bott, Kikelet and more. And to top it off, we're serving a traditional Hungarian stew whipped up by Brian.
