The years after WWI saw over 3 million ethnic Hungarians displaced from their homes, spread across the neighboring countries, taking their culture, tradition, and grape material with them. Now, descendants of those ethnic Hungarians in southern Slovakia are leading the charge in propagating, promoting, and protecting the vineyards that were planted in the aftermath. Our friends from Danch & Granger join us to explore the wines of two of our favorite producers from the region, Bott-Frigyes and Kasnyik.
