Think all California wines are oaky and opulent? Think again. Join us for a tasting that rises above the valleys and into California’s high-altitude vineyards, where granite soils, ample sunshine, and cool mountain air deliver wines that are fresh, lifted, and lean.
Not only are these wines from high-elevation sites, but they are (mostly) all using grapes typically planted in the alps. We’ll pour bottles from Iruai, Queen of the Sierra, and Idlewild, producers who are redefining what California can taste like: wines with altitude and attitude.
