Byron Kosuge has spent his entire adult working life on the craft of making Northern Californian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After farming and making wine for years with some of the most incredible vineyards in California (Hirsch! Alder Springs!), he began his own label focused on these Burgundian varietals in 2004. His wines are truly a view of what farming and winemaking in California can offer. Though undoubtedly inspired by European winemaking, in Byron's own words: Why not be brave and chart our own course?
Byron's wines are some of the most thoughtful, precise, terroir-driven bottlings made in California, and we can't wait to taste with Byron and do a deep dive into all things Carneros and Sonoma Coast! He'll be pouring his Carneros Pinot Noir (which Bryon farms organically), his Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, a beautiful Rose and perhaps the finest Gamay made in California!
