The original plan? Jet off to Barcelona for the summer, lounge in the tascas, stroll alongside Barceloneta beach, glass of sangria in-hand. But alas, life gets in the way... so we're bringing Barcelona to Solano Avenue with another night of tapas, sangria, wine, and art!

Friend of the shop, importer of classic Iberian wine, and talented artist Luis Moya is back behind the bar with a fresh lineup of our favorite wines from Spain and Portugal - plus his signature, carefully crafted sangria - while he launches his new art collection, Free Flow. It's a series that explores organic movement, layered textures, and spontaneous energy, capturing the spirit of release, rhythm, and emotion. And to go along with all that energy (and wine and sangria)? A menu of classic Spanish tapas, from padron peppers to boquerones, croquetas to pan con tomate.

Maybe it's the spirit of the recently celebrated Sant Jordi Day, or the excitement of FC Barcelona progressing in both the men's and women's Champions League (Visca Barça!), or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to practice my Catalan, but IMO? There's no better way to kick off May than with a night of great food, wine, and art (Catalonian style)!
